EN24 Forging Ingots
EN24 (817M40) nickel-chromium-molybdenum steel. A high strength, deep hardening steel with very good toughness, used where heavy sections must harden right through.

EN24 as a forging ingot
EN24 suits large-section forgings, so it is commonly ordered in the heavier M-size ingots with vacuum degassing.
