EN31 (535A99) high carbon chromium bearing steel. A high carbon, chromium steel that reaches very high hardness and wear resistance after hardening.

EN31 as a forging ingot
EN31 and 52100 ingots need clean, low-inclusion melts. Vacuum degassing and ladle refining are central to the grade.
