SS410 forging ingots
Martensitic stainless steel, about 11.5–13.5% Cr, hardenable. Valve trim, pump shafts.
Stainless forging ingots resist corrosion through chromium. Tool steel forging ingots are cast for die blocks and tooling, where homogeneity and carbide distribution decide tool life.
Supplied as square, fluted and round forging ingots, M1.5 to M22 (1,450 to 23,500 kg with hot top), vacuum degassed and bottom poured. Send the grade, standard, ingot mark and shape for a quotation. Chemistry is certified on the heat test certificate.
Martensitic stainless steel, about 11.5–13.5% Cr, hardenable. Valve trim, pump shafts.
Ferritic stainless steel, about 10.5–11.75% Cr. Used where moderate corrosion resistance is enough.
Ferritic stainless steel, about 16–18% Cr, with good corrosion resistance and no hardening.
Hot work tool steel, about 5% Cr with Mo and V, close to H13 with a little less vanadium and more toughness.
Hot work tool steel, about 5% Cr with Mo and V. Forging dies and die casting dies.
Cold work tool steel, about 12% Cr and 1.5% C. Blanking dies, shear blades and wear tooling.
Cold work tool steel, about 12% Cr and about 2% C. Very high wear resistance for blanking dies.
